Greater Houlton Christian Academy vs. Jonesport-Beals

The Jonesport-Beals Royals turned relentless defensive pressure into points on their way to a semifinal win over Greater Houlton Christian Academy on Thursday.

The No. 2 Royals forced 22 GHCA turnovers in the contest, which ended with a 66-53 score at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Kaiden Crowley led the Royals with 18 points. Sophomore Alvin Beal scored 15 points, and junior Ryan Alley had 15.

"We want revenge after last year," Crowley said after the game. "We want to get to the next level."

Greater Houlton Christian Academy finishes the season at 17-3.

Junior Parker Brewer had 17 points for the Eagles, Will Austin added 12 points.

Jonesport-Beals improves to 18-2 and will play in the regional final at 11:05 a.m. on Saturday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.
