Fort Fairfield put together the top County sports moment of the year with undefeated state-title seasons in boys soccer and baseball, plus Ethan Walsh’s high jump state championship.

The countdown was our list. Now County sports fans can nominate the moments they think deserve one more spotlight, with five finalists moving on to a fan vote.

Fort Kent boys basketball won its first state championship, beating Maranacook 70-63 to cap a historic Class C tournament run.

Aden Jeffers hit a buzzer-beater to lift Fort Kent past Caribou, 48-47, and send the Warriors to their first boys basketball state championship game.
