The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Gentile Hall staff will be celebrating Wellness Week from Monday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, Sept. 26.

Wellness Week is being led by UMPI’s Fitness and Wellness Coordinator, Keli Marston. Campus and community members of all ages are invited to take part in the fun activities focused on healthy living. All events are free and open to the public.

Marston explained the staff is pumped about Wellness Week.... "and we encourage everyone to come and learn about everything our health and wellness facility has to offer for your fitness needs!”

Wellness Week kicks off on Monday, Sept, 23, when Marston offers coffee, treats, and a free orientation to all the strength machines in the fitness center from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Then from 12-12:45 p.m., Marston will lead a free Fusion training class in Gentile Hall. and then wrap up the day with a free Fit Camp that evening, from 5-5:45 p.m., also in Gentile Hall.

Tuesday the 24th, Nancy Roble will offer free blood pressure screenings in Gentile Hall from 9-10:30 a.m. and Keli Marston will lead a free Circuit Training class from 12-12:45 p.m. in Gentile Hall.

Andrew Bouchard will be in Gentile Hall from 9-10:30 a.m. on  Wednesday, Sept. 25, with free recipes, treats, and protein supplements. Marston will again offer a free Fit Camp from 5-5:45 p.m. in Gentile Hall.

And to cap off the celebration, Marston will lead one last free fitness session, a Fusion training class from 12-12:45 p.m. in Gentile Hall.
