2022 Spring Sports Schedule At Houlton High School Released

The regular season for high school baseball and softball teams will begin in the next couple of weeks and it appears most teams will be able to get in a few preseason scrimmages ahead of the start of the season. Teams have been practicing for a couple of weeks and are ready to hit the ground running.

Welcome back to a regular contender 

In 2021 the Houlton Shires were not able to field a baseball team due to low numbers, and the high school had three players compete on a cooperative team with Southern Aroostook. This year, Houlton will be back competing in Class C North baseball. Houlton was the state runners-up in 2018, and finished in the top 4 of Class C North in 2019. The softball team competed in 2021, and will return to a full schedule in 2022.
