TD Bank/NMCC Golf Tournament to be Held August 8th

TD Bank and the Northern Maine Community College Foundation are hosting their fourteenth annual golf tournament.

The tournament will be played at the Aroostook Valley Country Club in Fort Fairfield on Thursday, August 8.

Last year the tournament raised over $19,000 and officials are expecting to surpass that amount this year with the addition of several new sponsors.

Jeff Pangburn, Vice President, Senior Commercial Relationship Manager of TD Bank, says the bank is pleased to have been the title sponsor for fourteen years. "This year’s tournament again benefits the NMCC Foundation.  Funds raised will support the many worthwhile ongoing activities of the Foundation and will provide important scholarships for many worthy students through the TD Bank Scholarship Fund,”

The tournament will also feature a hole-in-one prize, a cruise package sponsored by Dream Vacations.

Several businesses and individuals have donated items for both a silent and live auction. The silent auction will take place following the tournament and the live auction will be held following the evening dinner.

Registration for the tournament begins at 10:00 a.m., August 8, with tee-off starting at 11:00.
