The University of Maine at Fort Kent invites the business community and service organizations throughout the Valley to participate in a “Community Fair” on Thursday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year, the fair will be held outside on the university campus. In case of inclement weather, it will be held in Cyr Hall.

Each participating business or organization will be provided free space and an eight-foot table and two chairs. There will be access to electricity. Vendors may want to bring a canopy tent for shade. Deadline for reserving a space is Wednesday, August 29 and there is no charge to participate in the event.

The fair is designed to introduce university students to the products and services available in the region. It is a good way for the business community and organizations that want to market themselves to the new and returning UMFK students.

Businesses and service organizations interested in participating in the "Community Fair," or for more information, are encouraged to contact Lois Canzoni at (207) 834-7587.
