Chris O’Brien’s Hidden Gems – ‘Giant’ [VIDEO]

For today's installation of 'Hidden Gems' I'd like to introduce you to a man that, quite possibly, is responsible for all of country radio these days.  Yes, the go-to producer for most of today's Nashville artists is a man named Dan Huff.  He's helped catapult the careers of Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban and the list goes on.  Why am I telling you this?

Because long ago, Dan Huff was the frontman and guitar wizard in a hair band called Giant.  Giant only had a couple of hits, but they were great.  Unfortunately, in their day that a very 'Winger' look about them.  They may not have been a bad thing but tell that to Beavis and Butthead who single handedly stopped Winger's career, for a while anyway.

Giant went on without Dan Huff, to modest success, and he's not really looking back.
