CBC News has a report about a pilot that lost control of a First World War replica airplane has crashed in Woodstock, New Brunswick.

According to the report, the pilot of the First World War Nieuport lost control of the aircraft when it flipped on its side at the Woodstock Airport.

Ken Harding, Chief Administrative Officer of the town said that the pilot lost some directional control on takeoff, which caused the plane to go over the grass that runs along the edge of the pavement.

Once that happened, the wheel collapsed and the airplane flipped on its back. The pilot was not injured and was able to get out of the plane.

According to Harding, the aircraft sustained some damage and would stay in place until Transport Canada decided to investigate.
