
Wanted Man Arrested as Fugitive after Standoff in Maine
A 45-year-old man was arrested Sunday and charged as a fugitive after he apprehended at a home in Otisfield.
Wanted by Police for Multiple Charges
Anthoni Jensen was wanted on four warrants for unlawful drug possession of methamphetamine, failure to stop for an officer, refusing to submit to arrest, and operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.
Felony Probation Revocation Issued for Suspect
He also had a felony probation revocation for using dangerous drugs, according to the Oxford County Sheriff's Office.
Fugitive Located Inside Residence and Perimeter Set Up to Confine Him
Law enforcement located Jensen hiding inside a residence on E Andrews Hill Road and obtained a search warrant. A perimeter was set up to confine him to the house.
Woman and Man Exited House and Surrendered to Police
A 37-year-old woman, Melanie Naegley, was also in the home and exited the first. Jensen then came out and surrendered to authorities.
Taken to County Jail and Charged with Crimes
He was taken into custody and transported to the Oxford County Jail and booked. Naegley was summoned for hindering apprehension.
Several Members of Law Enforcement Involved in Apprehension
Multiple agencies were involved in the investigation including the Maine State Police, the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office, the Oxford Police Department and Animal Control.
