Police are looking for a 60-year-old fugitive from justice with convictions for stalking.

Wanted on a Warrant for Violation of a Protective Order

Lester Sprague has an active arrest warrant for Violation of a Protective Order.

Long Criminal Record with Convictions for Stalking

“Sprague has a lengthy criminal history which includes several convictions for stalking. He is on probation for the same and has accumulated new charges,” according to the York County Sheriff's Office.

Whereabouts Unknown and Police are Asking for Public’s Help

Deputies said his whereabouts are unknown and he could be anywhere in Maine, New Hampshire or elsewhere.

Lived in Different Areas of the State

Sprague has lived in the Newfield and Shapleigh area and has relocated. He also frequents the Sanford and Wells area.

Description of Fugitive

He is described as a 60-years-old male with brown hair, standing 5’8” and weighing 180 lbs.

Man Could be Driving Different Vehicles

Sprague could be driving a gray 2011 Tacoma with license plate, NH 9235M or he’s in a black 2023 Suzuki DR650. He also could be in an older green Subaru with a hatchback and Maine plates.

Do Not Approach or Try to Apprehend Wanted Man

“If spotted, do not approach or attempt apprehension,” said the Sheriff’s Office.
