Fugitive From Justice Fled New York and was Staying in Maine

The U.S. Marshals Service and the Maine Violent Offender Task Force took him into custody after developing leads that Dolberry was staying at a location in Maine for several months after fleeing from New York.

Suspect Taken into Custody While Riding an E-Scooter

Marshals apprehended Dolberry Tuesday afternoon while he was riding an E-scooter near Cove Road in Winterport.

Fugitive Arrested and Taken to Jail to Await Extradition

He was transported to a local jail facility and will be extradited to New York to face charges.

Coordinated Efforts in Maine and New York & New Jersey

Leads in the case were coordinated with the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of New York and New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.

“You cannot outrun justice when the U.S. Marshals in Maine are on your trail. Through enhanced interagency collaboration, offenders will be found, arrested, and brought to justice. There is no safe haven,” said Josh Taylor, Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal, for the District of Maine.

Law enforcement involved in the investigation included U.S. Marshals Service Maine Violent Offender Task Force, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of New York, and the New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force.
