The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating two robberies that occurred last Thursday night at two separate businesses in Moncton.

Police say a man entered the Doghouse Pub at 269 McLaughlin Drive shortly before 9:30 p.m. and demanded money from an employee. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as about 5'8", with grey stubble on his face. He was wearing a black toque, a black jacket with a hood, and yellow and grey gloves.

Less than two hours later, around 11 p.m., a man walked into the Tim Hortons at 1166 Mountain Road  in Moncton and demanded money from one of the employees. He also fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect in the second robbery is described as a man between 20 and 30 years of age, and approximately 5'10". He was wearing a blue plaid jacket, a ball hat with a red brim, and jeans.

At this time, police do not believe these two robberies are connected. No one was injured in either crime.
