The body of Darryl Sanborn from Thomaston was found on a dirt road near Wagner Bridge Road by a passer-by on April 17.

Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Called to Assist the Investigation
The Waldoboro Police Department called in the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit Central to assist in the search and investigation.

His body was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for an autopsy and report.

“The body has been positively identified as Darryl Sanborn. The cause and manner of death are pending. There is no known danger to the public,” according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, Maine Department of Public Safety.
