Tom Arnold Coming to Empire Comedy Club in Portland
Actor and comedian Tom Arnold is best known for playing Arnie Thomas on the sitcom Roseanne, which starred his ex-wife Roseanne Barr. Now he is coming to Portland for a show at Empire Comedy Club.
Tom Arnold's Career
In the early 1980s, according to Wikipedia, Tom Arnold had a prop-based comedy routine called "Tom Arnold and the Goldfish Review." Roseanne Barr must have seen his routine and brought him in as a writer for Roseanne. The two eventually married in 1990, and Tom wrote himself into the show as "Arnie Thomas." Get it?
He's also been in a ton of movies, including True Lies, McHale's Navy, Mr. 3000, The Great Buck Howard (2008), and appeared on the popular FX series Sons of Anarchy.
