Bobcat Goldthwait Brings His Wild Humor To Portland, Maine
Legendary comedian Bobcat Goldthwait is coming to perform at Empire Comedy Club in Portland on October 5, but tickets are going fast.
Bobcat Goldthwait's Television Debut (1982)
Goldthwait made his first TV appearance on Late Night with David Letterman in 1982 and was introduced by Dave as "one of the strangest comedians that we have seen in a long while." He wasn't wrong.
Goldthwait's entire routine was pure insanity, and the crowd loved it. It was a one-of-a-kind act that brought him stardom with roles in three Police Academy movies, Scrooged, Radioland Murders, and the animated film, Hercules.
Goldthwait Today
At 63, he's still going strong, and people are filling the seats at his shows across the country. As you can see in the video below of a performance two years ago at the Tacoma Comedy Club, he's toned down a bit since his debut, but he's still just as funny as ever.

Tickets are available Empire Comedy Club's website, and it's a 21+ show, obviously.
