
Comedian Nick Offerman Is Bringing His Stand-up to Maine
The 'Parks and Recreation' actor has announced a pair of shows in the Pine Tree State, scheduled for April 2026.
Even though we’re only a few weeks into the new year, the concert and comedy calendar is already filling up fast, giving us plenty of exciting shows to look forward to this year—including this one.

As recently announced, Nick Offerman is bringing his show “Nick Offerman: Big Woodchuck” to Merrill Auditorium in Portland on Thursday, April 16th, 2026.
The night is billed as ‘an evening of comedy with woodworking and bookish mirth,’ featuring songs and stories inspired by Offerman’s new book ‘Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop's Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery,’ which was released in October of 2025.

There are two shows planned for April 16th—an early show at 7 p.m. and a later show at 9:45 p.m.—featuring Offerman with support from woodworker and co-author Lee Buchanan.
The shows are said to celebrate creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of making things by hand. Offerman’s latest book, ‘Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop’s Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery,’ is a narrative woodworking guide designed for kids—both large and small.
