This Year’s Glenburn Community Festival To Feature Lumberjack Show
It's got something for everyone, and it's a whole lot of fun!
One of the local fun activities my family looks forward to each year is the Glenburn Community Festival.
Food, games, music, and fireworks are all in one spot where the kids can run safely, and you're bound to bump into someone you know.
This year's event will take place on Saturday, June 15th at the Glenburn Elementary School, 991 Hudson Road.
The Glenburn Antique Car Show will get the day's festivities off to a great start. That will kick into gear around 9 AM.
According to their event page, there will be a Craft Fair, kids' activities and a kid-friendly movie, exhibitions by local dance schools, cheer teams and artists, food vendors, cornhole, and live music scheduled throughout the day.
New this year, The Timber Tina Lumberjack Show will perform 2 shows that afternoon.
And to finish the evening, there will be a fireworks display at dusk.
As someone who has been to the festival several times, I can tell you, that this is not a rinky-dink display; It's pretty impressive. And I would dare say it rivals many of the shows I've seen in bigger cities.
So dress for the weather- grab your family, a lawn chair or blanket, some sunscreen, and some bug spray, and get ready for an afternoon of memory-making at the Glenburn Community Festival.
