
Two Men Arrested after Gunfire, Chase and Drugs Seized in Maine
Two men were arrested after fleeing from police following shots fired at a residence in Glenburn. Drugs and handguns were also seized after a search warrant was executed.
Men Wearing Ski Masks Fled after Gunfire
The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office said men wearing ski masks fled the scene Sunday after shots were fired and a vehicle damaged on Danforth Street.
Exited Truck and Fled on Foot
Deputies tried to stop the fleeing suspects in Hermon, but the suspects continued in a truck towards Bangor. Two of the three men then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot.
Hiding Under Mobile Home Trailer
K9 units responded and one suspect was apprehended hiding under a mobile home trailer.
Suspect Fled to Unoccupied Residence
The truck went back to Glenburn as Police were still in pursuit. The driver fled the truck and entered an unoccupied home. He was taken into custody after resisting arrest.
Drugs and Handguns Seized
Police executed two search warrants in Bangor and Hampden. They seized a half a kilo of drugs and two handguns.

Driver Charged
Deputies charged the driver, 36-year-old George Overlock from Carmel, with Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Possession of Firearms by a Prohibited Person, Refusing to Stop for a Law Enforcement Officer, Aggravated Criminal Mischief, Violating Conditions of Release, Criminal Speed, Driving to Endanger, Refusal to Submit to Arrest or Detention, Burglary, Operating After Habitual Offender Revocation.
Second Suspect Charged
The passenger, 22-year-old Raphael Cupidon from Massachusetts, faces charges for Aggravated Drug Trafficking and Refusal to Submit to Arrest or Detention.
Active Investigation
Police are actively looking for the other suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
