It's getting to gardening season! Are you ready?

The University of Maine Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Volunteers, in collaboration with the Market Street Co Op, will be hosting a free plant swap on Saturday, May 23rd in Fort Kent from 9 a.m. to 12 Noon.

Whether you have too many tomato plants, need to thin out your hostas, or just want to trade out your African violets, bring your extras to the plant swap!

You will receive a token for each plant you bring in, which will allow you to shop for new plants from among the plants other gardeners have brought in. Each plant may be exchanged for one token. Please do not bring in diseased or dying plants.

Come on out and meet your fellow gardeners, enjoy a cup of coffee at the Horseshoe Café, and get ready for a new garden season! See you at the plant swap!
