Maine Game Wardens and K-9 Found Missing 71-Year-Old Man

A 71-year-old man was found Saturday night by Game Wardens and a K-9 after getting lost in the woods in Abbot.

Maine Man Missing after Going in Walk

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said Howard Weymouth has Alzheimer’s and the family was concerned about him after he did not return from a walk on his property.

Family Found Missing Man’s Tracks

Family members searched for Weymouth and found tracks in the snow behind his house. They were not able to locate him and called Maine Game Wardens for help around 7:30 pm.

K-9 and Maine Warden Located Man

K-9 Storm and Warden Chad Robertson located Weymouth around 9:30 pm about 1.5 miles from his home.
