Police Looking for Suspect in Bangor Area Robbery
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a Glenburn convenience store at knife point Sunday afternoon.
According to Maine State Police, a white male entered the Checkout Market on the Pushaw Road at approximately 1:24 p.m. Sunday, threatened the clerk and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect was seen getting into a vehicle that headed towards Route 221 in Glenburn.
Video surveillance from the store captured pictures of the robber and the vehicle used in his getaway. The suspect is about 6 feet tall and most likely in his 20’s. The vehicle is reported to be light brown or tan.
