Teen Arrested & Charged after Robbery at Gunpoint in Maine

A 17-year-old male was arrested Monday and charged with robbery at gunpoint in Lewiston.

The Lewiston Police Department said the victim arranged to buy a firearm from the 17-year-old on Pleasant Street.

“When the two met, the seller displayed the firearm and robbed the victim of cash before fleeing the area,” according to Lewiston PD.

Teen Arrested and Firearm and Money Recovered

The 17-year-old was apprehended later and the firearm and money were recovered by police.

The teen was charged with Robbery and Criminal Simulation.
