Fugitive Wanted for Gross Sexual Imposition Arrested in Maine

A 25-year-old wanted man was arrested as a fugitive from justice in Maine for Gross Sexual Imposition involving a victim under 15 years of age.

Fugitive from Justice Apprehended for Gross Sexual Imposition

The U.S. Marshals Service and the Maine Violent Offender Task Force apprehended Claude Tuyishime from Windham. He was wanted in North Dakota on an arrest warrant.

Wanted Man Located and Arrested

Law enforcement was able to locate and identify Tuyishime in the vicinity of Alfred Road in Biddeford on Thursday. He was taken into custody without incident.

Arraignment and Extradition

“Tuyishime is charged as a Fugitive from Justice and will be arraigned in Maine pending his extradition back to North Dakota,” said the U.S. Marshals Service.

Multiple Agencies Collaborated for Arrest

The arrest was a collaborative effort with U.S. Marshals, the Maine Violent Offender Task Force and the District of North Dakota High Plains Fugitive Task Force.
