Car Rolls Down Embankment in Aroostook County, Young Woman Injured

A 19-year-old Caribou, Maine woman was transported to hospital after her vehicle crashed into a ditch. 

Maine State Police say Denise Lavaway of Caribou was headed west Thursday afternoon on the Beaver Brook Road in T14 R5 near McCluskey Lake when she lost control on a curve of the dirt road.

Corporal Corey Hafford says the car left the roadway, rolled several times, cut off several trees and came to a rest against a dirt embankment.

Lavaway was transported to Cary Medical Center in Caribou and treated for minor injuries.

Hafford says the car was totaled in this crash.
