A 55-year-old woman was charged with Murder after a 90-year-old man was found dead in Litchfield, Maine.

The Maine State Police said Shari Allimah from Lewiston was charged with Murder in the death of Gerald Marin.

Man’s Body Found in his Home

Marin’s body was found on May 18 by the Kennebec County Sheriff’s Office in his home at 1724 Hallowell Road.

Police Investigated the Death

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit, Maine State Police detectives and evidence technicians were called in to investigate the murder.

Death Ruled Homicide

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide after an autopsy on May 19. No additional information was released.

Charged in Jail

Allimah was charged with Murder on May 22. She was being held on unrelated charges at the Androscoggin County Jail.
