Recently, the Wintergreen Arts Center received a grant in the amount of $10,000.

The grant came from the Davis Family Foundation to expand digital arts programming to middle and high school students. The Davis Family Foundation is a public charitable foundation established by Phyllis C. Davis and H. Halsey Davis of Falmouth to support educational, medical and cultural/arts organizations located mostly in Maine.

Wintergreen's executive director, Dottie Hutchins, is grateful for the generosity of the Davis Family. “Wintergreen is fortunate to be the recipient of the kind of dedication the Davis Family Foundation extends toward cultural and arts organizations.”

Traditionally, Wintergreen's programming has focused primarily on children’s arts education for students ranging in age from preschool through the eighth grade. The Davis Family Foundation grant will allow Wintergreen to expand its programming to include students up through the twelfth grade.
