Winter Weather Advisory for Aroostook County – December 6
Get ready, more winter weather is headed our way!
The National Weather Service Office in Caribou has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 a.m. Saturday, December 6th right through 7 p.m. that evening for much of Aroostook County. They say snow and freezing rain are headed our way.
Snow is expected to transition to freezing rain at around mid-day.
Total snow accumulations are expected to be between 2 and 4 inches, with a 10th to a 1/4 of an inch of ice accumulation as well.
Snow and freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered road and limited visibility. Please use caution while driving.
