Doug and I were talking on the show yesterday about bands that could have or should have stopped at a certain point, yet chose to keep making music. Who are we to say when someone's peak is or was or why anyone would want to stop making a living at something they love and were probably born to do, but in a strictly trivial way we thought we'd ponder the thought.

For example, I love Def Leppard. For the most part I like all the music they've put out from the late 80s through to today. However, when you see Def Leppard in concert what is the bulk of the material performed? Have they ever really topped 'Hysteria' sales or impact-wise? They could have stopped after that album and still been the legendary band they are today, probably more so. It's all subjective of course. There are some that may think 'Slang' is the best Def Leppard album and that came out in the 90s.

What do you think? What band could have or should have stopped at their peak and moved on to something else, even if it was to start a new project? Call the show at 764-ROCK or tell us on Facebook.
