Thieves Steal ATM at Moncton Restaurant

The RCMP is investigating the theft of an automated teller machine at a Moncton restaurant early Tuesday morning.  Click here for the updated story with surveillance photos.

Codiac RCMP were dispatched to 1999 Mountain Road in Moncton shortly after 3:30 a.m. to investigate reports of suspicious activity.

At the scene, police established that  someone had used a pickup truck to remove an ATM from a restaurant at that address. The perpetrators fled with the machine and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The theft remains under investigation. At this point, no arrests have been made.
