The Presque Isle Rotary Auction continues into its 72nd year, but with a twist this year.

The service organization, keeping up with changing times, will be doing the auction slightly different this year. The Presque Isle Rotary Auction will now take place entirely online at Over 400 items, valued at over $40,000, will be auctioned off. Items have been donated by area businesses. Bidding is open now and will close on Friday, November 8, at 8:00 pm.

Rachel Rice, auction co-chair, explains where the money raised from the auction is going. “Every year, the Presque Isle Rotary Club hosts a very worthy group of auction proceed partners, and this year is no exception.” Proceeds from this year’s auction will benefit the Nordic Heritage Ski Center, Quoggy Jo Ski Center, Presque Isle Youth Hockey, and the Presque Isle Rotary Club Scholarship Fund.
