Maine State Police have arrested a Sherman man after an alleged assault and terrorizing incident late Saturday night.

At around 11:30 p.m., Trooper Caleb Adams, Trooper Adam Bell and Sgt. Chad Fuller responded to Sherman for a report of an assault.

Following an investigation that continued throughout the night and early morning hours Sunday, 36-year-old Chad Pocock of Sherman was arrested for aggravated assault and terrorizing. Pocock was transported to the Aroostook County Jail in Houlton. Bail has not been set.

Lt. Brian Harris said the victim will not be named to protect their identity.  The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time, Harris said.
