Pleaded Guilty to Charges
Geremias Josue Sanchez-Velasquez from Guatemala was given time served (110 days). He pleaded guilty on June 11, 2025. He was charged with reentry after removal.
Prior Conviction
Sanchez-Velasquez was apprehended in Palmyra on April 23, 2025. He was previously convicted of illegally entering the United States in 2019 and had been removed.
Not Authorized to be in the Country
The U.S. The Attorney's Office said he “acknowledged that he was not a U.S. citizen and that he did not have any authorization to be in the country.”
Removed from United States
Sanchez-Velasquez was turned over to immigration authorities to be removed from the United States.
