
Man Sentenced to 32 Months in Prison for Bank Fraud in Maine
A 25-year-old man was sentenced to 32 months in prison for bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in Maine.
Pleaded Guilty
Andre Hill will also have 36 months of supervised release and pay back $13,842. He pleaded guilty on February 24, 2025.
Purchases, Cash Back and Money Orders
Hill used debit card numbers and loaded them in a digital wallet. He made purchases in greater Portland, Maine and also got cash back and bought money orders for himself, said the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Attempted Over $40,000 in Transactions
Hill attempted over $40,000 in transactions with the stolen debit card numbers, according to the investigation by Homeland Security Investigations and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
