The head-on crash happened around 10:30 am on Ross Corner Road.

First Responders Started Triage and First Aid at the Scene of the Crash

First responders immediately started triage and treatment at the scene as additional emergency teams arrived.

Seven People Taken to a Local Hospital for Treatment

The injured were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Shapleigh Rescue.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene including Shapleigh Rescue, Acton Fire-Rescue, Newfield Rescue and Fire Department, Alfred Fire-Rescue, the Waterboro Fire Department, Limerick Fire-Rescue, the Sanford Fire Department, Goodwins Mills Fire-Rescue and LifeFlight of Maine.
