The RCMP is continuing to investigate the homicide of a 77-year-old man in northern New Brunswick whose body was found inside his home earlier this month.

Police were called to a residence on Restigouche River Road in Dawsonville shortly before 12:30 p.m. on January 9.. An autopsy led police to believe Emerson Main’s death was a homicide.

The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit along with the Campbellton Detachment have been following up on several leads in connection with Main’s death and are continuing to pursue this investigation.

“We have been receiving information that we’re currently acting on,” says Cst. Jullie Rogers-Marsh of the RCMP in New Brunswick. “However we're continuing to ask people to call police with anything that might help us solve the homicide of Emerson Main.”
