New Jersey Health Department officials said Monday that Hickox had been symptom-free for 24-hours and would be taken on a private carrier to Maine.

Hickox was automatically quarantined when she arrived at Newark Liberty International Airport. New Jersey is one of four states that have begun quarantining people returning from West Africa who had contact with Ebola patients.
