The Presque Isle Fire Department responded to the scene around 1:56 pm at 17 School Street.
Neighbors Reported the Fire after Seeing Smoke
Neighbors had reported smoke coming from the residence.

Fire crews encountered heavy smoke when they started battling the blaze.

Two People Were Outside When Fire Crews Responded to the Scene
Two people had escaped the fire and were already outside when the fire department arrived.
