O’Brien: Local Sidekick Turns a Year Older!

So about five years ago I was part of a radio team that had a pretty good following.  Then the other half moved on.  I went off the air for about a year.  Then I decided to come back and fire up the ‘All-Request Rock-N-Roll Radio Show’ again.  This time I had one of my best friends at my side. 

Not that my former partner didn’t become a best friend, but my current partner and I have a history.  We basically grew up together and it shows because it’s as if someone bugged a long conversation between two twelve year old boys.  He makes the show more fun.  I love playing rock and roll for a living but when Doug is unable to hang, I’m a bit off. 

‘Hang’ is the operative word here.  Doug has a job.  When he’s through with that job he comes to my studio to goof off on the radio.  Believe it or not, he doesn’t get paid.  He does it for fun.  My co-host is celebrating a birthday today.  I won’t say how old he is but I will say that he’s older than me.  Thanks buddy for putting up with me.
