The price of gas at the pump has gone down some more around New England.

The daily survey conducted by GasBuddy.ocm shows prices here in the Pine Tree State for regular unleaded went down 1.6 cents in the last week to an average price of $2.51 a gallon. Star City pump prices showed a decrease of 3 cents from the previous week's price of $2.74 to $2.71 a gallon.

Gas in New Hampshire fell 2.1 cents to an average $2.45 a gallon. Vermont showed a price drop of 2.2 cents to $2.56 a gallon.

According to GasBuddy, the national average price of gas fell a penny from a week ago. That's 5 cents lower than a month ago, but is still 22 cents higher than it was a year ago at this time.
