Mapleton Daze Runs Now Through June 29th

The annual 'Mapleton Daze' celebration is on with a slew of events scheduled for the rest of the week and through the weekend. Bring the family out and have some fun.

The Bike Coalition of Maine will be giving away 35 bike helmets at the bike rodeo Wednesday night from 6-8pm. Thursday night at 7pm is the Woodie Waddell Memorial Cribbage Tournament and bingo at the Lions Hall. On Friday starting at 5pm there will be a chicken BBQ at the Elementary School parking lot with entertainment by Wendell Hudson and his band.

There's a jam-packed Saturday lined up with the Main Street parade at 10am, Shine n' Show Classic Car Show from 11am-4pm, Ride the "Amazing" Gyroscope provided by G-Force Laser Tag (At Mapleton Pool) 8pm - 11pm, and Wally & The Virginian at the Mapleton Pool. (Bring lawn chairs) If there is rain, it will be held at the Lions Hall.

On Sunday, June 29 from 7am - 10am there's a pancaked breakfast hosted by the Mapleton, Castle Hill and Chapman Fire Department at the Fire Station. It's going to be a great weekend so bring the kids. Visit the Facebook page for more info.
