
Man Arrested & Charged with Drug Possession and Firearm in Maine
A 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with drug possession and gun charges following a traffic stop in Caribou.
Vehicle Tried to Elude Police
The Caribou Police Department said when police tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver “abruptly turned into a residence in an attempt to elude the officer.” The vehicle then stopped.
Packages of Drugs in Plain View
Neil Marshall was taken into custody after Officer Kevin St. Peter saw him in the backseat of the vehicle with “suspected packages of drugs in plain view on his lap.”
Drugs, Money and Gun Seized
Marshall was searched and more drugs and money were found on his person. Police also found a 9 mm handgun inside the vehicle.
Drug Possession and Gun Charges
He was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person, Fentanyl Possession and Cocaine Possession, Possession of hallucinogens and prescription pills.
County Jail
Marshall was taken and held to the Aroostook County Jail.
