The Great Maine Lumberjack show will be hosting a celebration commemorating next step domestic violent projects 30th anniversary.

It will take place Sunday the 8th from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at 127 Bar Harbor Road, in Trenton.
Ready to go old school at the amateur logging sports competition featuring several of the old-time skills of a Maine  lumberjack?

The events have been selected for all to participate in and learn that day. The entry is $30 a person and each person competes on a team of 4 people, and there will be a maximum of 30 teams that day.

The teams go head to head on various events.

How is your cross cut sawing?

How about axe throwing?

Wood splitting?

And Log tossing?

Admission to watch is free, however donations are great.

Ellsworth Rotary will be the event’s food vendor cooking hamburger and hot dogs.
And the event is to honor the thousands of domestic violence survivors that NextStep Domestic Violence Project of Hancock and Washington Counties has served.
