Comedian Kevin James got nationwide attention when he played Doug Heffernan on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens. It was a huge hit that ran for nine seasons.

Jon Stewart was the host of The Daily Show on Comedy Central from 1999 to 2015, and he later returned to host on Mondays. He currently plans to do so until the end of 2025, but who knows? He extended his contract for a year once. Maybe he'll do it again through 2026.
