Check It Out: Trailer For New ‘Lost On A Mountain In Maine’ Movie
Eighty-five years ago, a young boy named Donn Fendler, survived over a week alone, lost in the wilderness in northern Maine.
He wrote a book about his adventure called 'Lost On A Mountain In Maine' that is still read by elementary school students across the state.
Word spread in 2022, that the classic Maine tale of boy vs the wild, 'Lost On A Mountain In Maine' was being adapted for the big screen.

After overcoming some hurdles, it was announced earlier this summer that the film, which was written by Luke Paradise, directed by Andrew Kightlinger was produced by Maine native Ryan Cook, had partnered with Balboa Productions (Sylvester Stallone's company) and would hit the theaters this fall.

The completed movie debuted at the International Film Festival on July 13th, with members of Fendler's family in attendance, at the Waterville Opera House.

Those of us who were not able to attend, are finally getting a glimpse of what the movie will look like. The distribution company, Blue Fox Entertainment, released the trailer for the movie earlier this month. And it looks so good!
"Lost On A Mountain In Maine," the movie, is due out in theaters on November 1.
