Grand Manan Island Arson Unsolved Since 2014: Police Looking for Help
New Brunswick Crime Stoppers and RCMP are looking for information about a suspicious fire on Grand Manan Island that's been unsolved for two and a half years.
On August 13, 2014, shortly after midnight, RCMP members were called to the scene of a structure fire on Route 776 on Grand Manan Island.
When the police arrived, the residence was engulfed in flames. There was no one living in the house at the time and it had no electricity.
The investigation revealed that the fire was suspicious in nature.
The building was completely destroyed and the loss is estimated at several thousand dollars.
Police are asking the public for information that may help solve this case of arson.
