Gas Prices on the Rise Once Again

Once again, price on gasoline continue to rise across New England.

According to the latest GusBuddy.com survey,  the price at the pump here in Maine rose by 2.5 cents from last week to an average of $2.37 a gallon. The price at most stations in Presque Isle Monday morning was 15 cents higher at $2.52 a gallon.

In New Hampshire, the average price per gallon was $2.30, a jump of 3.5 cents from a week ago.Vermont gas prices saw the lowest increase of 2.1 cents to $2.36 a gallon.

The national average rose 2.1 cents from last week to $2.33 a gallon, a jump of 7.3 cents over the last month and is 21.6 cents a gallon higher than at this time last year.
