Ferrell & Smith: Drum Battle for the Ages [VIDEO]

It's been weeks, maybe months in the making and last night it finally happened.  Squashing the rumor that comedic actor Will Ferrell and Red Hot Chili Peppers/Chickenfoot drummer Chad Smith are actually the same person, there was an epic 'drum-off' on last night's 'Tonight Show.'

With tongue planted firmly in cheek, Ferrell kicked things off, albeit with a little hidden help.   Then Chad Smith followed, proving what a fantastic drummer he really is.  The comedy flowed to a surprise ending that you'll just have to see to appreciate.
