
Man Charged with Manslaughter & OUI after Bicyclist Died in Maine
A 41-year-old man was arrested Monday morning and charged with Manslaughter and OUI after a bicyclist was hit and died in Brunswick.
Suspect Arrested after Fleeing and then Returning to the Crash
The Brunswick Police Department said Lance Lucas-Wallace was taken into custody after he fled and then returned to the scene of the crash.
Bicyclist Died at the Scene of the Crash
The man on the bike, 23-year-old Silas Octavi Esquivel Perez, was pronounced dead around 11:30 am.
Crash Happened near Route 1 Overpass
The crash happened on Old Bath Road near the Route 1 overpass.
Charged with Manslaughter, OUI and Leaving the Scene
Lucas-Wallace was charged with Manslaughter, Operating Under the Influence involving death, and leaving the scene of an accident.
Transported to County Jail and Bail Set at $100,000
He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail with bail set at $100,000. The investigation is active and ongoing.
