While everyone speculated on a potential foray into the WWE, Rob Gronkowski has faked out the public again.

It's been, what, two weeks without a Gronk alert? Three-time Super Bowl champion, and one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history, Rob Gronkowski will ad analyst to his growing resume.

Fox Sports announced he will join Terry Bradshaw, Michael Strahan and Tony Gonzalez, and NFL insider Peter Schrager for the Thursday pregame show.

Coincidentally, the New England Patriots also play Thursday night.

Brad Zager, Executive Producer and Executive Vice President, Head of Production and Operations, FOX Sports was quick to list Gronk's passion and charisma as main ingredients in his hire: “He is one of the most popular players to ever play the game and also one of the best tight ends in NFL history. His passion for the game and larger-than-life personality make him a perfect fit for FOX Sports.”

No word if the banner raising, five-time Pro Bowling, and four-time first-team All-Pro will be Gronking footballs on TV. Probably not, but it's Gronk...ya never know.
