A Maine Love Story That Will Make You Smile
If you are looking for a break from the horrors of the news and politics, you clicked on the right spot, for this, is a love story.
This love story begins on September 18th, 1984, in a nursery at EMMC, which today is known as Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine. Two newborns, a boy, Tony and a girl, Kim, shared the same nursery after being born.
Fast-forward to 2003. Kim and Tony are in the same graduating class at Brewer High School. Although the two knew of each other, they were by no means friends or even acquaintances. It wasn't until after a year or two removed from high school that these two birthday-twinning lovebirds started dating.
Tony still got to propose on September 18th, 2008, and Elissa's daughter had a successful surgery and is doing wonderfully to this day. Tony and Kim, decided to get married in the summer that followed the successful surgery on August 8th, 2009, ... Elissa's daughter's birthday.
Kim and Tony make a team like no other, taking kids to sports or practice, making it work when it seems like the hours of the day are not enough. - Elissa
